Yarn and Garment Care

Garment & Yarn Care: For best care, hand-wash with cold water, lay flat to dry, and store finished garment in a plastic bag. It is suggested to avoid soaking, similar to the concept of washing red clothing with white clothing. If dark and light colors are combined, it is recommended to swatch the colors beforehand to ensure your project does not bleed. This is crucial for red and blue colors. Human hair and fiber are quite similar, so shampoo works very well, make sure to use a tiny amount (We use v05). Be cautious of wool wash and other softeners, especially those that contain Eucalyptus or Lavender, as those ingrediant tend to release the dyes in the yarn. Garments should last as long as garments would from Nordstrom or similar department stores. It must be handled love with care.
